As part of his quests to ensure improved power supply and other infrastructure in the Centre, the Medical Director/Chief Executive, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa State, Dr. Yahaya Baba Adamu, has appealed to the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI, for interventions.
The Medical Director made the appeal yesterday, when he led other members of Management of the Centre on a courtesy visit to the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive of the agency, Prof. M.S. Haruna, in his office in Abuja.
The MD hinted that , since the Centre migrated to Electronic Medical Record years ago, most of the services depend on power.
Adamu also disclosed the deficits in computers, power supply, among other challenges the Centre faces.
He therefore, appealed for the Agency’s support in the areas of chrome books/computers, sizeable solar energy units for various service areas, street lights and others.
In his remarks, the Chief Executive of NASENI, Prof. M.S. Haruna, acknowledged FMC, Keffi, as his hospital and stated that federal hospitals have more capable professionals and that they are more effective and efficient in service delivery.
He then assured the MD and his team of the agency’s willingness in granting some of the requests as he directed one of his directors in the agency to visit the Centre for needs assessment.
