PSN, Nasarawa Chapter Confers PHARMS.

MOST FRIENDLY MD’S AWARD ON DR. ADAMU.As part of activities marking this year’s World Pharmacists Day Celebration, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Nasarawa State Chapter, today, paid a courtesy visit on the Medical Director/Chief Executive, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Dr. Yahaya Baba Adamu, and conffered on him, the 2022 MOST PHARMACISTS FRIENDLY MD/CE AWARD.The team led by the State Chairman of PSN, Pharm. (Dr.) Dennis Egga, also intimated the MD on the forth coming event.Dr Egga appreciated the Medical Director for his friendly disposition to PSN, Nasarawa State and other sister unions. The Chairman during his speech, made plea for Call Duty Allowance for the pharm. D pharmacists, recognition of Consultancy Cadre for pharmacists in the Centre. He however appreciated the MD and Management of the Hospital for implementing Call Duty Allowance for pharm. D interns.Egga also commended the Centre for meeting the requirements of being a training centre for the West African Post-graduate College of PharmacistsThe MD/CE while responding, thanked the PSN for the Award and promised to always give a level play ground for all unions to thrive. He said he will look into the requests, but noting that the implementation of the Consultancy Cadre for pharmacists in government hospitals is a national issue that is not limited to FMCK.Also part of his entourage, was the State Secretary of PSN Pharmacist, Nnenna Eburu and the FMCK branch Executive.Highlights of the event was award presentation and group photograph.
